Spiritual practice takes focus and discipline, although, this does not mean that it can’t be fun. Just like if you want a fit and healthy body, you must create an active lifestyle for yourself and eat nutritious foods. It is a consistent balance and dance. I can feel a difference in how I feel the days that I sit for meditation and practice yoga.
For most of us we are not only learning new principles, but in a way we are re-programming ourselves. For instance, moving from a world of lack and scarcity to a world of abundance and fulfillment may not just be something you accept easily after years of being conditioned. It takes time and patience and perseverance to make a lasting change. It’s not just a specialized diet for a few weeks or a six week yoga course, but a way of life.
As a step in creating your new way of life I encourage you to add one thing to your daily routine that raises your vibration. Think of something you love to do and write it on a piece of paper in BIG letters. Hang it up where you will see it right when you wake up.
What raises your vibration you may ask? Simply, what makes you feel good? What makes you feel peaceful and joyful? Maybe it’s dancing or meditating or walking or playing with your pet or painting. Whatever it is, just do it. Don’t think about doing it or even put a time limit on it. Just do it for as long or as little as you want, for as long as you feel it.
By doing something that raises your vibration it automatically raises the vibration of this planet and all of its inhabitants. Let that inspire you! Raising your vibration also makes your magnet stronger, meaning you will probably find that things are falling into place more effortlessly for you. Let that inspire you too! There may be a part of you that resists. Take some time to look at what is behind that resistance. What in you would be resisting a healthy, peaceful way of life?
Have fun creating your new way of life and keeping your vibes high!
